Reason #2

No offense to boys but you just can't do stuff like this with your son.  I guess you could but his dad would probably get mad.

Yup, I curled her hair.  I kind of want to get her a perm but it's probably not the best idea.  I highly doubt that Eggy would tolerate the rollers in her hair.  Plus, it'll probably make her face look bigger.  

But she liked it.  After I curled it, I told her to go look in the mirror.  She kept giggling and tossing her hair back.  She's so funny. 

Just when I wrote a post about Eggy being a daddy's girl, she decides she's over him.  Well, not really but she has her moments.  Like last weekend, Eggy appah and I were eating sandwiches and Miss Piggy decided she had to have a bite too even though she had already had lunch.  So Eggy appah gave her a few pieces of bell pepper from his sandwich and when he asked Eggy for one of them, she refused.  But when I asked her if I could have a piece, she let me have a bite.  So her dad asked her again and he was rejected again.  She even let her halmeh have a bite.  It's not just with food but her toys too.  She'll happily share everything with me but she won't let her dad have anything.  I swear I did not teach this to her.

Even though it's been a few days, Eggy's hair cut still cracks me up. How can it not? Look at this face!

At first, it reminded me of my own bowl cut when I was young.

Then, I remembered this picture of Eggy appah.

First Haircut

Eggy finally got a haircut today!!

She did pretty good.  No crying.  But she didn't really want to get bangs.  

So we had to bribe her with a lollipop.

Hair Everywhere

We had an appointment for Eggy's first hair cut today.  She kind of needs one, no?

We keep going back and forth whether to cut it or not.  Eggy's grandmother keeps telling us to get it cut.  I don't really want to but it gets all crazy sometimes.  And I want her to look nice for her party.

We cancelled the appointment.  I'm just not ready to cut her baby hair.  What do you think ?  Should I cut Eggy's hair?  

Bringing sexy back

Eggy's got a new way to keep the hair out of her face.

She actually seems to like wearing the sweatband. At first, she kept pulling it off but now she'll leave it on. A few times when it came off, she'd pick it up and hand it to me. "Put it back on."

My Son

My new favorite picture, hahahaha! This was right after her bath. Her hair will stay like that for about two minutes. Once it's dry, it goes back to its unruly poofy glory. I don't know why eggy appah combs her hair with such a deep side part. It makes her look like a boy. Eggy? No, Eggo!

Hairdos and Hairdonts

Eggy was born with a lot of hair. She even had hair on her back. My fuzzy little monkey. However, she doesn't have as much hair up front so it looks like she has a receding hair line. And the top is just so fluffy. We've tried brushing her hair so it will lie flat but it will not behave. It's like that part of her hair is in rebellion. Now the back is getting long so it curls around her neck. Unfortunately, it looks like a mullet. Business in the front, party in the back. Maybe she'll look like those old men who are balding but still rocking a ponytail.
