I'm old

It was my birthday yesterday. My first birthday as a mom. Eggy appah and I were going to go to Vegas but we ended up celebrating at home. To make up for missing Vegas, I got two cakes! But then, Eggy was sad that she could not have any cake. I know, baby, I would be sad too if I couldn't have any cake.

She is the bestest present of all. haha, I so cheesy but I can't help it. I lub her so muchee.

My new favorite picture, hahahaha! This was right after her bath. Her hair will stay like that for about two minutes. Once it's dry, it goes back to its unruly poofy glory. I don't know why eggy appah combs her hair with such a deep side part. It makes her look like a boy. Eggy? No, Eggo!

Showtimes for the new Harry Potter movie? Um, no. Those are the times that She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named decided to wake up last night. Then, at 5:00am, she thinks I looked bored or something because homegirl decided to stay up and keep me company for an hour. Thanks eggy but you really shouldn't have. sigh.... Now I'm debating whether to go back to sleep. If I do, she'll probably be awake in half an hour. If I don't, she'll probably sleep until 9am. That's just the way it works.

The last two nights haven't been all that much better. And just so you all don't take her side (and feel more sorry for me), I leave you with this unflattering picture:

100 Days

It's eggy's baek-il today! Congratulations eggy!

We didn't have a party or even get any dduk but we did get a cake. mmm! Mommy loves her some cake. And of course, eggy daddy took pictures. My cousin's wife bought her the dress.

She hasn't learned how to sit like a lady yet though. Maybe she thinks she's Britney Spears.

3 Months

That means eggy is a quarter of a year old. Already? Cheese and rice!

Where she's at:

• More smiles! I love this. When she smiles really big, her eyes get all chinky and she gets this wrinkle in her nose. It always makes me laugh.

• She also likes to look at herself in the mirror. She always smiles at herself. Conceited!

• Rolling over. She did it again today but eggy daddy hasn't seen her do it yet. I don't know when she'll go from back to tummy, especially since she doesn't really like being on her stomach. But sometimes when she's on her back, she'll lift her butt and legs in the air and swing them to one side.
• She's also using her hands a lot more too. No, they're not just for snacking, eggy. She'll reach out to try to touch things sometimes. Her favorite seems to be this yellow fish rattle. She also likes Sophie. She's still got a ways to go on the coordination thing but she's getting there.

• She's a lot better at sitting up. We still have to prop her up but her neck control is much better, less wobbly. I want to get her one of those bumbo seats.

• We're still working on trying to get her to sleep through the night. sigh, that's a hard one. The worst is when she wakes up every two hours; it's like she's a newborn again. I've threatened to sell her on ebay but I don't think she's scared. Yeah, eggy daddy wasn't too happy about selling her.
