When I was pregnant with Eggy, I took belly pictures every week. I signed up for those weekly pregnancy newsletter. This time, no pictures at all. Sometimes, I don't even know how far along I am. When people ask, I just tell them I'm due in April. I don't know if it's because it is the second child or because I'm lazy. Probably both.
Ugh, is it because I'm older now or is it because I have a toddler to look after? But this pregnancy is definitely more tiring. I think I've gained the same amount of weight as last time but I just feel so much more uncomfortable. My back is killing me. But at the same time, I'm not in any hurry to get this baby out. Because I know it's going to be a lot harder once he's here.
I had a dream a little while ago. It's the only baby related dream that I've had for this pregnancy. In my dream, I was getting an ultrasound, except it was like a video of the baby. Anyway, he was huge. Faaat. He already had rolls on his arms and legs and a big belly. He had chinky eyes and he was bald. He looked like Buddha. I remember I only had two baby dreams when I was pregnant with Eggy and that was that she was a girl. And look how that turned out! I really do not want to be having a 12 pound baby, even if I am having a c-section.
Speaking of, Bacon's official eviction day is April 8. Yup, Easter! Unless of course, he decides to come early which I bet he will. Things never go according to plan. The night before Eggy's birth, I jinxed us by saying to the hubby that I would end up giving birth on April 1 via c-section. I was only supposed to go in that day so they could check my progress but they ended up keeping me there and inducing me. (I was hoping that I could hold off until April 2 to be induced because I didn't want her to be born on April Fool's Day.) Then, I ended up with an emergency c-section. So this time? Let's see... I predict that my water will break March 30 when I'll be sitting in a movie theater probably right at the climax of The Hunger Games.
Anyway, here is the one belly picture that I've taken this whole pregnancy. (No, that is not a beach ball that Eggy is holding!) This was actually taken a few weeks ago so my belly is even more swollen and bigger. I might even have cankles, I'm not sure. It's kind of hard to know when you can't see your feet.
